The Peluso Centolani family, owner of the Centolani Estate, has been cultivating vineyards since 1975 with competence and professionalism, but above all with great passion.
Every year we produce about 250,000 bottles and inside our cellar we vinify, age and bottle only our own grapes. Thanks to different exposures and altitudes of the vineyards, our estates produce wines very different from each other:
The Brunello Pietranera, produced from the south side by soil particularly rich in clay, mineral salts and dark stones of lava origin.
Brunello Tenuta Friggiali, a traditional Brunello, suitable for long aging, with a particularly brilliant ruby red color even in older vintages.
Brunello Poggiotondo is a cru obtained from the southern vineyard o of the property, so called by our ancestors for the "round hill" from which it sloped from 300 to 200 above sea level, which is individually vinified and aged in large Slavonian oak barrels of 30 and 50 hectoliters.
